K.G.F: Chapter 2

K.G.F: Chapter 2 is an upcoming Indian Kannada-language film written and directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner Hombale Films. The second installment of the two-part series, it is a follow-up to the 2018 film K.G.F: Chapter 1 and stars Yash with Sanjay Dutt, Srinidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon and Prakash Raj.^[3]

Prashant Neel retained the technicians from its predecessor with Bhuvan Gowda handling the cinematography, Srikanth Gowda editing the film and Ravi Basrur scoring the music for the soundtrack and the film's background.^[4]

Being the most expensive Kannada film with a budget of ₹100 crore,^[5][1] K.G.F: Chapter 2 was initially scheduled for theatrical release on 23 October 2020 but was postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic.^[6][7] Although its release date was not confirmed,^[8] the film is scheduled to release in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam languages.^[9]
